Nursing Care
We believe that quality health care and prevention activities are central to the well being of those we support. FEHE provides nurse case managers (R.N. or L.P.N.) who work with individuals enrolled in services, their families, physicians and FEHE interdisciplinary team to assure ongoing access to community based medical care
Quality Assurance
Quality supports are the underpinning of FEHE’s ability to ensure each person’s success. To assure program excellence, every aspect of FEHE’s work is reviewed, analyzed and refined to guarantee continual improvement and effectiveness of programs and services.
Staff Development
An essential key to FEHE’s success in helping individuals attain an improved life balance. FEHE is committed to certifying that all staff members have the essential skills and abilities to carry out their work with confidence. Basic skills such as CPR, first aid and along with ongoing best practice training and education assure that FEHE remains a leader in quality service delivery.
Advocacy Services
FEHE is committed to ensure that individuals and families receive type of services desired, with the amount and frequency needed. To that end, the FEHE team assists individuals in navigating the service system, provides continuing related to rights, and negotiates with funders to support individual needs. This individualized advocacy work is supplemented by a strong public policy and legislative advocacy agenda to support FEHE’s work and advocate on behalf of all individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the State of Georgia.
